Iva Bittová and the Škampa Quartet present a truly original project: a fresh, personal interpretation of Janáček's collection Moravian Folk Poetry In Songs. Arranger Vlado Godár rewrote the piano accompaniment for string quartet especially for this project, and the result is not only a new tonal palette, but also a new, completely untraditional approach to Janáček's work. The quartet provides a masterful accompaniment to Bittová's singing; some members take their turns as solo singers as well!
