Fat in dry matter min. 43 %.Original semi-hard cheese produced according to the traditional Cypriot recipe. It is created from cow, sheep and goat milk. Under the influence of high temperature, it reaches its full flavour and unique texture. Its surface slightly blushes and toasts, allowing the delicate interior to become springy. It is firm and pleasantly salty.+2 °C - +6 °CHalloumi cheese is an original Cypriot product, extremely versatile, used in many cuisines of the world. We can cut it into cubes or divide into slices which will keep their shape after heating. In this form, it will turn light salads into filling, wholesome dishes. It is perfect as a topping for Italian pizzas on thin, crispy dough. It also successfully replaces steak in an American burger. Best when served hot, straight from the grill or frying pan. Preferably paired with a light dry white wine, a good rosé wine or beer.
